My stable is located just outside Banbridge, County Down in Northern Ireland. There my brother Cathal, my wife Sandra and I keep around 30 horses. We would normally have around 15 - 20 horses in work. We keep horses for owners, which I compete with, we keep horses for students, which I train and coach and we keep horses which are for sale. 

Due to my show schedule I travel a lot. Often I am not more than 3 or 4 days/week at the yard. Besides working with my horses during these days I also put some intense time into my students. I enjoy working with young interested people. 

At our yard a day is never like another. I guess that’s what working with horses is like. And that’s what makes this job so unique!
